Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Micassa (“Micassa”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of the Micassa website and application at micassa.online (the “Service”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by workspace members you invite.
- Notify us promptly at support@micassa.online if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Workspaces, members, and roles
Workspaces let teams collaborate. Owners and admins can invite members, change roles, and remove members. Editors can create and schedule content. Viewers have read-only access. Content you add to a workspace may be visible to other members of that workspace, so only share information you are comfortable disclosing to them.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the text, images, videos, links, and other material you submit (“Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to format a post for a channel), and transmit your Content solely to operate and provide the Service. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a short period or as required by law.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the Content and that publishing it does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate any law or platform rule.
6. Connected social channels
You can connect third-party accounts, such as Threads, and authorize us to publish Content to them on your behalf. You are responsible for complying with those platforms’ terms and policies. We are not responsible for their availability, moderation decisions, API changes, or outages, and a post may fail or be delayed for reasons outside our control.
Some integrations are clearly labeled mock or simulated. A mock channel does not deliver anything to a real social network; posts targeted at it are recorded in Micassa for testing only. A Threads connection is live only when it is labeled “live” and has valid credentials.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any law or third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive or misleading content.
- Harass, threaten, or promote hate or violence.
- Distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or another user’s account.
- Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or security controls.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
- Use automated means to create accounts or abuse the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that create risk for other users or the Service.
8. Plans and limits
The Service offers plans with different limits on connected channels, workspace members, scheduled posts per month, and media per post. The current limits are shown in the app. We may change plans or limits with reasonable notice. Paid checkout is not currently available in the Service; if it becomes available, additional payment terms will be presented before you are charged.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy and on the Data Deletion page.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Content will be published successfully, on time, or in the form displayed, or that any third-party platform will accept it.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or third-party platform rules.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place where the Micassa operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts at that place have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
